2018 VOGMA Weekend is gearing up to be one of the best
The 3rd Annual Voices of Gospel Music Awards in Mobile, Alabama which is presented by Cumulus Broadcasting is approaching, and it is expecting to do what it do best in honoring independent Gospel artists from across the country.
The newly formed Voices of Gospel Music Awards has grown over the past two years, and have meet is expectation thus far. The event has moved from a large sanctuary church to the Mobile Convention Center in Downtown Mobile. The event is set out to honor the independent Gospel music industry, but has received the Blessings of major mainstream Gospel artist as well. National Recording Artist Luther Barnes, Pamela Crawford, Doug Williams, ZaCardi Cortez, Clifton Ross, III of Sunday Best and Lemmie Battles have all made their appearances at the last two VOGMA weekends.
Each year VOGMA has been a sold out event, bringing in crowds from all over the country and Canada, independent artists have been noticed of their talents, and VOGMA has put forth a first class event each year. VOGMA is expected to add a touch of class to the big weekend celebration in 2018 with a Chairman Ball. The Ball will feature nominees, community leaders, and music professionals, in an evening of relaxing, awards, and celebration in a Christian style atmosphere.
The 3rd Annual Voices of Gospel Music Awards will feature National Recording Artists David Daughtry, and Clifton Ross, III making his return for the second year. Also featured on the main stage will be the Sims Family Singers, Glenn Johnson & The Voices of Innerpeace, and Travis Crockett and VOP. Over 60 nominees will be recognized and honored.
