God gave Elder Gary Johnson the vision in 2015 to formed what is known today the Voices of Gospel Music Awards. After several years of showcasing many indepedent gospel artist from around the country in what was just a music showcase, Elder Johnson went before God and receive the vsion to recognize, honor, and appreciate independent gospel music talent.

Since the founding of this great movement, it is evident that God plan and approval has succeeded itself.
